Nikolay Alexandrovich Romanov was the last emperor of Russia, Prince of Finland and King of Poland. Under his rule Russia was the strongest country in terms of production, military power and economic growth. However some people found that this was unacceptable and turned many against the emperor and his ruling. Nikolay and his family was brutally murdered as a result of serious uprising in Russia in 1918. These photos were taken from private archives of Romanov family.
