Basel Zoo, Switzerland

Basel Zoo is the oldest and largest zoo in Switzerland. It is a home for over 6,000 animals. The attraction of this zoo is the rare dwarf hippopotami. In the zoo you can also take a tour in the aquarium where you will be able to see over 5,000 different animals, including charming penguins. It was opened in 1874 and is today the second most visited attraction in Switzerland.
