Bathroom facts

If you are a sports lover you should consider of visiting the throne before you go off to watch a game. According to some data the toilets are flushed more times during the super bowl halftime than at any time during the year.

When you use a public bathroom you should bear in mind that whey you flush you must wash your hands. A public restroom can have up to 40,000 germs per square inch. SO after washing your hands with an antibacterial soap that washes off 95% of the bacteria make sure that you have used a paper towel and not a hand dryer since it can increase the amount of bacteria.

An average person visits the toilet 2,500 times per year what is 6-8 times per day. Therefore we spend at least 3 years of our lives on the toilet. What a waste of time and we all know that time is money. But a woman in Kansas spent two years on the toilet seat, apparently, her skin formed around the seat.

Since we spend so much time in the toilet we are bound to lose more than just our time. Seven million cell phones are dropped in the toilet every year. People have flushed down the toilet things like goldfish, false teeth, socks, underwear, bras, shirts, shoes, mice, hamsters, toy cars, action figures, Barbie dolls, toothbrushes, and whole rolls of toilet paper.

When you flush remember to keep the lid closed. The reason for this is that when Flushing feces become airborne. Keep your toothbrush as far as possible.

A toilet uses more water than any other appliance in your home. The average person flushes almost 20 gallons of drinking water per day. A dual flush toilet can significantly cut down on the amount of water per flush plus you will be able to spend more time in the john with the person you share everything with.

A seventh grader hypothesized as a part of his project that there was more bacteria in the ice than in the toilet water. His claims have been proven to be correct. The student found that in 70% of time the toilet water contained fewer bacteria than the ice.

Some research has shown that a man spends 140 days of his life shaving. While women spend 3 times more time than guys do in the lavatory.

We all like to swim in the pool but there are some people who like to urinate there, too. A recent survey found that 1 out of 5 people have urinated in the pool which can cause recreational water illnesses which can lead to respiratory, skin, and ear problems.
