There is an old phrase in Japan "fugu wa kuitashi, inochi wa oshishi" (I want to eat fugu, but i don’t want to die). Since the fugu’s poison can lead to instantaneous death, the Japanese government regulates various aspects of fugu fish intake in Japan. Poisonous parts vary between numerous kinds of fugu, and only licensed cooks are permitted to prepare dishes of the same.
A multi-course fugu meal can cost upto 10,000 yen per person.
Some Famous Dishes Of Fugu:
•Fugu-sashi (Sashimi)
•Fugu-chiri (Nabe hot pot)
• Kara-age (Deep Fried)
•Hire-zake (Hot Sake Drink With Grilled Fin)
